Unfortunately, my roommate and I are both sick so I spent most of the day trying to feel better. Since Baylee was up last night coughing, I went to a cafe this morning to let her sleep and so I could get some fresh air. I went to a place in the central downtown area and got a chocolate croissant and iced chai. It was a nice cafe that was very busy. I was pretty tired after that so I came back home.
While I was out, I saw a lot of people wearing Royal Run shirts. The Crown Prince runs a 10k with the public every year for this run. Based on what I've heard from my professor, it seems like the Danes are very proud that their royals are willing to do this every year.
I tried to get a thermometer at a pharmacy but it was closed for the holiday and you can't get them at a grocery store like you would be able to in the US. While searching for a thermometer in the grocery store, I ended up picking up some bread to make toast tomorrow and some Powerade to help with my sickness.
Tomorrow I have a field trip with my class so I'm sure it will be a more eventful day.
