5/26/23

Today I woke up at 5:45 to go swimming with some of my classmates and professor. The "feels like" temperature was 44 degrees so it was very cold outside and in the water. There were a lot of naked older people swimming at the time we went. They usually just travel to the harbor in their bath robes. I went down the ladder and stayed in the water for less than a minute but it was a cool experience. I will definitely go back when it's warmer.

Then, my class went to a coffee shop and the university treated us to drinks. After finally making it back home, I was so tired and still shivering. Swimming in the mornings is supposed to be the perfect way to start your day, but it was just too cold for me. Since I didn't have class and we finished our project for the week, I took a very long shower and then took a nap.

After that, I figured out how to do the laundry in my building. The detergent automatically dispenses in the machines, which is interesting. After my roommates got home, we got ready for dinner.

We went to Reffen, which is a street food market. They had a lot of venders with many different types of food. I had chana masala and garlic naan. I also tried the sangria and a blueberry mojito. Everything was very good. I particularly enjoyed the naan, which they make right in front of you.

We headed home after dinner and I decided to stay in tonight because I'm still tired from my adventure this morning. The weather is supposed to be a little warmer tomorrow so I might go to Tivoli with Baylee or go to a museum.
